My (not so) Relaxing Sunday Morning

#20 - BARCELONA
RED AND NAVY NAUTICAL TUNIC - Forever 21
BLACK CARDIGAN - Motherhood
BLACK LEGGINGS - Old Navy
BLACK BELT - New York and Co
OPEN TOE BOOTIES - Charlotte Russe

#21 MYKONOS
NAVY AND WHITE STRIPED SHIRT - Forever 21
BLACK MILITARY BLAZER - CAbi
WHITE JEANS - CAbi
BLACK STUD HEELED CLOGS - Forever 21
PEARL SHELL NECKLACE - My grandmother's collection
VINTAGE BROWN LEATHER BELT - Furla
This morning I woke up with a stinky diaper in my face and a foot in my side.  For some reason, Princess Sparkles and Pigtails LOVE to crawl into our bed in the morning (and sleep horizontal!).  I'm half asleep so I just sorta pull them up and roll over to my side (really because that's all the room I have).  Oh, it'd be so nice to have a King bed...an Eastern King.

I got ready to shower and I see little Pigtails trying to take her own shirt off (Gosh, I remember before the kids I could take nice long showers... now I'm out in 60 seconds).  So I let her shower with me (and she hogs up the water and stands in the middle so I have to step around her, trying NOT to get shampoo in her eyes).  Haha, then I left the two kiddos to shower with Camouflage...

Now we're off to church (only 30 minutes late!).  Thank GOD for Sunday school.  Seriously.  I'll finally have an hour or so of free babysitting (YES!) so I can relax and listen to Pastor Jeans speak.  I love my church (and not just for the free babysitting).

Hey! Button looks awesome - THANK YOU for adding it!!!

I know what you mean about showers. Ugh. I love my daughters, but I also love my PRIVACY. Now, I can't shower or take a bath in peace. Ever. It's like they have radar for it.

P.S. I complained last week about high CAbi prices, but I'm going to break down and buy those white jeans after seeing you in them! I tried them on and they fit like a dream...

Love both of these outfits. Very creative with the red striped tunic.
Oh, I feel your pain. We always make the same mistake and let the kids in our bed and hours of kicking and tossing we remember why we should never do this. And we do have an Eastern King! Cuddle times are now for morning only.
Glad you had some break at Church! :)

Baths are better for entertaining and giving mom some breathing room. I know you can't leave them unattended but you can get something done like reading, folding laundry or having a cup of coffee--and the tub is a great place for feeding them messy stuff. Love the fresh Mykonos look.

I really love the red and navy tunic, and the Mykonos look.I think it's the wide brown belt that pulls it together for me.

I love the tunic from the first outfit...and with the leggings and booties? Perfect styling.

But the second outfit is definitely my favorite. I've always been too scared to try a white pant, but I may just have to break down and buy a pair after Easter, because I am dying to copy this look!

And also, my kids sleep that same way.

I dont have any kids but it sure does sound hectic! I have enough trouble relaxing on my days off as it is! I love both of your outfits I'm seriously having trouble deciding which one I would wear if I looked as good as you in them:)

lol. Claire, you're so funny. I love hearing your stories about your daughters.

And I love these outfits too - you're making me regret I didn't get some open-toed boots I saw the other day. Both of these outfits are fabulous.

both of these outfits are absolutely fabulous!

I like the first one, with the capri leggings and those open toed booties, it is modern and edgy.

Then the second look is just so so so effortlessly chic. You positively exude class in this outfit, and you are killing those white pants, missy!
