My 30 for 30 Remix Picks

Princess Sparkles has her own very unique sense of style.  She loves a skirt, glittery shoes, and anything she thinks a princess might wear.  But what I think really takes her fashion to the next level is her ability to accessorize...

The blanket or "cape," as Princess Sparkles calls it, is "just like Red Riding Hood."  The fedora, well, that's my favorite hat.  She found it in my closet.  And she added the flower to the necklace (with Daddy's help).  All of these were her ideas!

So here are the clothes I chose for my 30 DAY REMIX

I'm a total novice at this remix thing.  And being a novice, I'm sure I'm going to make plenty of mistakes.  In fact, I'm a little worried I chose too many neutrals and not enough brights.  However, I'm hoping with a little inspiration from Princess Sparkles, I can use my accessories to add more sparkle and color to my outfits!

Aww, the cape! She's adorable!
I really love the red striped dress. And I'm excited to see someone who's actually just starting the 30-for-30 like I am. (or will be in three days.) It seems like all the other bloggers have already finished. I've never done it, either. But it should be fun. It looks like you have a really good mix of plain and prints-- I'm worried that my 30-for-30 items are too colorful and patterned! We'll both learn as we go, right? :)

Love your remix items, and I can't wait to see what you come up with. And you're right about accessories livening up the process...I definitely became more friendly with the scarf/belt/jewelry parts of my closet during my remix!

Princess Sparkles is surely well named. I'm feeling a need for more sparklies just looking at her. Maybe some day she'll design her own clothing line like Kimora Simmon's girls. Your collection looks very interesting--white blouse and madras skirt particularly caught my eye.

Aww Princess Sparkles is such a doll- I love her cape! You chose great pieces for the 30x30- neutrals are almost better because you can accessorize them in so many different ways! xo

Securing the cape (I almost called it a scarf, so I think she's pulling off the blanket quite well!) with a binder clip? How chic! I'd never have thought of it myself! ;)

Good luck with your remixing. Looks like you picked some awesome pieces that will mix really well. I especially like the whites you chose--so ready for spring!
