Green and Blue: Keeping Them Both

"Mommy, can I marry my friend, Glitter?"
Princess Sparkles asked me if she could marry one of the little girls in her class
(obviously she's obsessed with weddings).
I had to tell her, "sorry sweetie, not in California."

MATERNITY DRESS - Liz Lange Maternity (Target), $7
NAVY SWEATER VEST - Target, $6
NECKLACE - GS Lillian
CUFF - Heavenly Treasures
OLIVE BOOTS - Downtown LA, $45
OLIVE PURSE - OR (thrifted), $13

I have to say Liz Lange for Target makes some of the most comfy maternity dresses.  I love them.  And I really love them when they go on the clearance racks (or to the thrift store).  This beautiful purse is all leather, something my mom thrifted at her local GW.  It's funny because I had bought the exact same purse in turquoise just a few days earlier on clearance at Loehmanns for $30 and thought I had gotten a total steal (the original price is close to $200!!!).  But then my mom whipped out this one and she won the prize.  She bought it for $13!!!

"Yes!  May mom got two purses for a really great deal!"

Anyway, I think I'll be keeping both purses.  If you find something you like, why not have it in more than one color?!

Happy New Year! And definitely keep both bags - why not? They'll both add something different to your wardrobe.

The stripes placement of this dress is genius. If you didn't pull it back to show your lovely tummy you can't even tell you are pregnant in some of the photos.
Cool purses.
The girls look so cute.

super cute dress. You can never have to many bags.

How many times have you heard some-
one express regret @ not getting
"one in every color"? That is a fine looking bag! Color placement
on that dress is very slimming.

Hello Miss Chic Maternity!
I do love the pictures of your kids- their effusion, whimsicalness (such a word) and cheekiness just comes out! So cute!

I LOVE this look. I have actually bought a few items of Liz Lange just because I like how they fit, not because I'm pregnant. I had surgery a few months ago in my abdomen and wanted stuff to be looser around there!

I love your outfit! The dress has a great print and the boots are amazing. If I love something I will buy it in multiple colors. I have done this with shirts before and with shoes.

I'm not pregnant but I can't help but run my hands through the Liz Lange collection in Target. It feels so nice! This dress is extremely flattering on you (and the necklace just seals the deal).

I'm with you on the duplicates. Why not have two when they're at such a great price?

I love the bag, and I think it's a good idea to keep both--it's fun to have an assortment of colors anyway! And those boots--those are beyond cool!

Another great pair of boots! LOVE the lace up detail, although how hard is it to get them on in the morning when you're rushing out the door :) Also loving the print on this dress as well!

I think, for $43, you HAVE to keep both purses. It's like, an unwritten law of shopping, or something... :)
