Pigtails loves jewelry.  Not sure where she gets that :)  Just the other day we were in her "Mommy and Me" class when she took a slinky we were supposed to play with while singing, and turned it into a lovely bracelet.  It was actually a good idea and I appreciated her accessorizing.

After checking out a few posts from participants of "Bloggers Do It Better" hosted by Pretty Shiny Sparkly, I felt inspired to try out the "White Out" trend myself.  Okay, it's not exactly white out, but I did do all neutrals and tried to keep within the same vein.  I decided to go with a white eyelet skirt and a neutral button up shirt.  I also got to wear my amazing blush colored stilletos (thanks to FancyFierce and Fedora for the lovely birthday gift!).  They kinda remind me of a ballerina.  Now all I need is the tutu!

I also linked up with "What I Wore Wednesday" on the Pleated Poppy

Anyway, I had a lot of fun playing with this outfit.  I did consider doing all white, but it's a little dangerous with my two girls.  I decided to keep the jewelry simple.  It's something I learned from Pigtails, "When accessorizing, less is more."  Unless, of course, it's a diamond, then more is more.

AH! By far my favorite of all the White Out outfits I have seen. I love every single aspect of this. I hate beige up near my face so I am envious of anyone who can pull it off. Which, so far, would be... uh, you. And those shoes are to die for, seriously.

I love that you went white all the way down to the nails - and the touch was beige ties it all together so perfectly. You did an awesome job with this one!

I love the shoes!! I could NEVER wear white because I sit everywhere and I'm too clumsy. I'd get my clothes dirty immediately after I leave home! -_- But you look great! :>

This is actually my favorite white-out look that I have seen. I love that you paired the white skirt (which is gorgeous) with a neutral top. The white jewelry and nails were nice touches.

I wish I had your mad fashion skills.
I feel like we should meet up and go shopping sometime.

This looks great. Would have been perfect for that 'white out' challange too!
I absolutely love the shoes...

Regarding the nap comment...My son rarely naps but I have conditioned him to do quiet time in his room while my daughter naps. He is pretty good staying in there and playing/reading for couple hours. The room is a mess when it is over but oh well...

I LOVE the white and khaki combo--one of my favorite looks for summer! And I love those blush shoes with the outfit. I envy that you can wear tall shoes--it's one of the curses of being tall that I am stuck for the most part with flats... :(

Happy Cinco de Mayo Claire!

You look GREAT and I actually think mixing neutrals is better then wearing all white. Give your friends a hi-five because those shoes are FABULOUS!

ps. My little 2 year cousin always takes my bangles whenever I visit. Lol She has the accessory obsession too. :)

Gorgeous! I absolutely adore this outfit! (Do I say that to you all of the time? I feel like that's generally my first thought when I see one of your outfits...) I'm impressed with your bravery in wearing just the white skirt around the girls...B would have used that as target practice for juice or something :)

Also, those shoes are amazing!!
