Denim Romper - Inspiration Monday

DENIM ROMPER - Romeo and Juliet Couture
YELLOW CARDIGAN - GAP
MULTI-COLORED WEDGES - Cynthia Vincent for Target
NECKLACE - Heavenly Treasures

Monday's Inspiration:
Nicole Richie out at the park.
"Baby Legs" are really popular in our household (if you don't know what they are, they're basicall like leg warmers for little ones).  Princess Sparkles likes to wear them on her arms as accessories, while Pigtails likes to wear them under dresses (or over her pajamas, though I'm thinking THAT might be a fashion statement).  I like 'em because they're functional, and they're way easier than tights, especially when it comes to changing diapers!  And they're cute, so if they had them for adults I'd probably have a stash of them!

For "Inspiration Monday" from the wonderful ladies at Two Birds, I decided to do denim in the romper rather than the jacket since, well, that's the romper I have.  Not to mention I better save up my florals for tomorrow so I can participate in Everybody Everywear.  These multi-colored wedges have become my new "go to" shoe.  I never would've thought they would match this many outfits!  Gawd, I love wedges...almost as much as boots!

Speaking of love, what I love about a romper...you can wear it to the park with flip flops, then throw on some heels and wear it out at night.  What I don't love about a romper?  Having to go to the restroom.  But they are so comfortable and so chic, you got to love 'em.  Unlike "baby legs" (which they don't have for adults), a romper is basically an adult onesie.  A cute one.  So now I can match my kiddos!

I have never tried rompers but I really, really want to - love yours (although, yeah, I could see the bathroom thing being a problem).

If I looked half as good as you in a romper, I'd try one. You look so stinkin' adorable! I love those wedges too!

You look so cute in your romper. I'm pretty sure I would look like hell in one, but I love it on you.

This turned out to be a great combo. I couldn't participate this Monday as I am so behind in posts as it is.
So glad you mentioned EBEW for tomorrow. I would love to participate.

I wondered about using the restroom when I first saw a romper. I guess fashion over function, huh? And where do you find your "baby legs". I've had the hardest time finding some for my girl.

I love the yellow and blue together and the shoes are darling...you are so brave! I'm not sure if I could pull off a romper, I'm not that funky and cool :)

I love rompers, but I don't own any. I tried one on last summer, but I didn't buy it because Mom said the concept is weird. Now, she loves them, and I totally blame her for me not getting it.
Question, though: When you have to pee, how do you go to the bathroom when wearing a romper??? Do you have to take the whole thing off ... ?
My mind travels in weird places.

I love that you swapped the denim jacket for a denim romper! Isn't that what "inspiration" is for? Being inspired but making it completely yours!
