Green Skinny Jeans, Union Jack Tee and a Birthday Party

"I'm not inviting nobody to my birthday!"
Pigtails shouted as she stormed out of the room.
My girls like to reference their birthday parties when they get upset.
I wasn't too worried since it'll be a whole year before she has another birthday.
And honestly, I wouldn't be all that bummed if she didn't have a party.
Of course, 5 minutes later everyone was invited again.

UNION JACK T-SHIRT - Hand-me-down
GRAY MULLET SKIRT - Alternative Apparel
TANK TOP - Target
BRACELET - iSanctuary
NECKLACE - Hand-me-down
COMBAT BOOTS - Trouve (via Nordstrom

GREEN JEANS, WHITE T-SHIRT - Target
ORANGE CARDIGAN - Old Navy
NECKLACE - Jewelry by Cynde Daniels
YELLOW BALLET FLATS - Loft

Here are two outfits from the past week.  I love wearing combat boots and a skirt (especially nude boots!).  The shirt I got at a swap I hosted with some friends.  The second outfit I'm linking up to "Inspiration Monday" from Two Birds.  I was attempting to incorporate more color into my wardrobe in anticipation of spring.

Pigtails and her Care Bear cake at her birthday party.

It's always a fashion challenge this time of year.  It's not quite spring but not really winter.  I'm getting excited about pulling out my spring clothes though.  I haven't seen them since fall.  It'll be like a whole new wardrobe.  Happy Birthday to me!

lucky you that you don't have to wear super warm jackets, coats and winter boots, especially when spring should actually come next week..
my favourite is the second look and especially because of the usage of bright happy colours. I love orange and that green is gorgeous too. oh and those photos are superb again!

I love the first outfit. Very edgy chic. The spring colors of the 2nd outfit are so nice.

So hold on, who is the consultant of the kika party your friend is going to? We all know each other and would love to see who it is. What a small world!

claire, is it really your birthday? happy day to you either way. you're looking great in both ensembles. pigtails saying you're not invited to my birthday party reminds me of when kids would get mad and say, you're not my friend. then play together 5 minutes later. ha-ha
