Favorite Maternity Wear: Tunic, Leggings, Boots

PLAID TUNIC - H&M Maternity
DENIM LEGGINGS - Macys
RING - Jewelry Party
WEDGE BOOTS - Steve Madden

I'd been dreading this day for a month now.  I had made a doctor's appointment for Princess Sparkles AND Pigtails.  Back then Princess Sparkles just overheard me mention the doctor and complained for days about seeing him.  But she had forgotten...until we pulled up to the office.  The two girls were asleep in the car and I was late.  I quickly woke them from their dreams and yanked them into my nightmare.  Princess Sparkles screamed, making a mad dash to the door for freedom.  I had to carry Pigtails who was freaked out by her sister while chasing Sparkles down.

This was BEFORE they got shots...
Then they called us in and Princess Sparkles screamed even harder (it got even worse when she had to get her 4 shots!!!).  Pigtails was bawling too.  The nurses just looked at me with fear in their eyes (probably praying these weren't their patients) or maybe that was pity for the poor pregnant lady with the two hollering children.

This is my comfy "everyday" outfit, a maternity tunic I found at H&M for $15 on clearance, some jeggings and my favorite wedge booties.  Thank goodness for comfortable maternity wear!  Because when you're pregnant, carrying a screaming baby, chasing after an escaping toddler, and having to hold down your children as needles get poked into their bodies, you just hope you look cute doing it.  Haha, just kidding. That was the last thing on my mind.

oh my gosh! The pictures of the girls is priceless! I feel for you though, I hated those days going to the dr for 4 shots at a time.

You sure looked really cute having to go through all of that though :) The plaid tunic is adorable! Heather

poor girls. I hate getting shots too. You look great.

I don't tell my boys we are going to the doctor until we actually get there. I think the anticipation of the shot is worse than actually getting it! You look great...when I was preggo I lived in tunics and leggings...

Poor babies. I hated getting shots - it used to take my mom and a nurse to hold me down.

You look fabulous. I love a tunic and leggings too and I'm not even pregnant!

That is such a awesome freaking picture! I feel so bad for them. I'm SUCH a wuss when it comes to shots, but I've been trying to show the girls that it's no big deal. Still having a major freakout on the inside though. :) I pretty much lived in tunics and leggings during pregnancy too. So comfy!

Oh you poor, poor woman. I hate taking my kids to the doctor to get shots. My ten year old recently had to get a tetnus shot and he still screamed just as hard and squirmed just as much as he had as a baby. Bummer! So sorry! But, the good news is that you DO look cute doing it.

Oh my goodness, sounds like it was quite the day! That snapshot of the girls is just priceless. But let's hope that's the last doctor visit for a while. But none the less, you look wonderful! This is a wonderful go-to, comfortable fall uniform. It's casual, but wonderfully put-together and chic!

Awww, their cry faces make me want to cry with them! I always was a "brave girl" during shots because my dad would take me out to ice-cream...until I went to the dentist and had cavities....whoops! You look great in plaid!

haha...you're so funny. I won;t be looking so cute if I have two screaming kids, btw I have to say the little picture of them is very cute..hehe..You're one hot mama...how do you maintain your chicness with two so young kids and plus the pregnancy. I was looking crabby when I was pregnant and having a 3 year old. My hair was a mess and I was always in my PJs. Haha.. And you run a household and blog too, you are one super mommy!

Awwww...I feel so bad for them. I use to hate getting my shots too and now as an adult I still get nervous. I hope they are feeling better now.

ok, as horrible as this was for you, this actually made me feel better! my son was exactly the same way. he would scream as soon as they called his name, scream when the doctor came in, scream when the nurse came with the shots, scream during the shots...gah, it was a nightmare. every. time. so now, i have to prep him weeks before, tell him it WILL hurt, but only for as long as a pinch. he's a lot better now.

love those boots!

The babies are precious but somebody should have take a pic of you too! I'm pretty sure that you may have looked a little different.
From they Mom of two boys 16 months apart I feel your pain. And, I'm sorry to say there is much more to be had.
Good thing you have bloggy friends!
As usual you look adorable. Get some rest. That is more important than how you look..... fluffy pants are the way to go (of course only at home)
I have a feeling this is going to be a great shared adventure.

Oh, you poor thing...I can't believe you had to take both girls in at the same time! I'm so glad all three of you made it through in one piece :)

And that picture...those two do not look happy, at all, do they?!?

Ha, "you just hope you look cute doing it." =) That made me laugh.

Your poor girls! Shots are awful. I usually bribe my Little Guy with ice cream. Speaking of shots, I really need to bring Little Miss in soon for a few of those...

You look really cute in your tunic & leggings! I wish I had discovered leggings while pregnant. I bet they're so comfortable!

I am literally laughing out loud at the girl's picture! I can only imagine. My dad took me to the doctor ONE time when I was little. When he got home he told my mom, "I am NEVER taking that child to the doctor again."
