#3 - "Pink Panther" ABSTRACT TANK - Thrifted PINK CAPRIS - Hudson PINK BELT - Thrifted EARRINGS - Forever 21 T-STRAP HEELS - Forever 21 (via TJ Maxx) |
Today I'm wearing a lot of pink. In fact, I feel a little like Princess Sparkles, since that's her favorite color. But although I'm wearing pink, I'm feeling a little blue since my sister, Polka Dots, is returning to Hawaii today. Luckily Camouflage and I have a date tonight with another couple to see one of my good friends, Fedora, perform (she's an awesome musician!).
I always enjoy Polka Dots' visits. We got in a lot of eating, thrifting, and quality time in. We both got some really great deals at the thrift store (Polka Dots almost couldn't fit it all in her suitcase). My fave was a Calypso for Target maxi dress that I got last week for $4 (but can't wear until I finish my remix). Seriously, it was almost as cool as having a Jesus sighting!

You look great in that outfit. I adore the color on you. Princess Sparkles is too funny.
Ooooh, I lovelovelove that crazy-ass top. I don't think I could pull it off nearly as well as you. I think I would look stupid. Graphic prints tend to do that to me. It's like the print swallows me whole, and all you can see is the crazy design of the shirt. It sucks because I love graphic prints so very, very much.

That was a long paragraph of nothingness.

Soooooo., I can't help commenting on this one. How did you explain that to Princess Sparkles? My boy's are pretty much grown up. The youngest is 21. I still wouldn't know how to answer that question. Maybe that's why we talk about fashion so much..It's easier, right?
P.S. You rock in pink!
That top and shoes are amazing! Pink is my six year olds favorite color too!
Sorry to hear your sister had to home, but at least you had a good time.
Yeah, what did you tell Princess Sparkles about Jesus? You have my curiousity peaked now, lol!
I just love the innocent faith of the little ones!
I absolutely adore your outfit! Especially those pink capris! Too cute!
What a fun, funky summer outfit! Love it. xo style, she wrote
omg. I love this print. I had a shirt VERY similar that I have held on to for YEARS because the print was so awesome...I finally donated to the Salvation Army a couple days ago. (it was a gift from my ex boyfriend and every time I wore it I felt a little yucky...even though I loved it so.)
Now I wish I hadn't donated it. Blah!
You look GREAT!
Oh, I wish I could have overheard this conversation...and whatever answer you gave her.
You look so cute. That is a great pattern on your top.

Claire you and your sister will always miss each other that's normal, but this is the added value of being sisters: you'll always be together even if you are far away from each other.
