Thakoon for Target, Kessa Ankle Boot and a Shoe Lover

"Ooohhh, I want those!"
Pigtails said, pointing to a pair of sneakers.
Normally I'd say no, but I had just grabbed a pair of wedge booties
and it seemed wrong to get me something and deny her a pair of shoes.
And I felt bad because she never gets anything new since she's the second child.

Monday's Inspiration - Busy Phillips

SKIRT - Thakoon for Target (thrifted)
BLACK TANK - Alternative Apparel, via Karmaloop
BLACK BOOTIES - Mossimo Kessa Ankle Boot, via Target
EARRINGS - The Dollar Store

Today's "Inspiration Monday" from Two Birds is Busy Phillips which gave me the perfect excuse to whip out an old favorite, my thrifted Thakoon for Target skirt.  It paired perfectly with the new booties I got from Target.  I had been eyeing them in their ads and when I saw them on sale at the store I grabbed them!

Pigtails in her new kicks

I love my new black wedge booties.  They're edgy, versatile and surprisingly comfy.  I have a serious shoe fetish, especially with boots (and wedges, heels, sneakers, ballet flats...).  I just can't help myself.  I guess it must be genetic!

This outfit is too cute Claire! I have this same sense of guilt when I am shopping and then my kids want something. Likewise though, if they are getting something new, I usually feel justified in getting myself a little something also. LOL I love the black and white today and those booties are sooooooo rad! Your daughter's shoes are super cute too. Do they come in adult sizes? LOL

that is quite a find from Target! those are sassy and edgy as hell! also, that's baaaasically the oldest trick in the kid book right there... I ALWAYS got my mom to get me stuff too whenever we'd go shopping, all you have to do is say, I want this! as she's buying her stuff... I was kind of a stinker... :)

I think it's weird when people DON'T have a shoe fetish. :) I love her sneakers, they're adorable on her!

Me too--I was internet shopping the other night and decided I needed every pair of ballet flats on the Gap website. Luckily I fell asleep before I could hit 'buy". But I still want them all not to mention those amazing plaid shoes your daughter has--do they make them in bigger sizes? You look cute as always Claire!

Hooray for Target! :) LOVE that skirt, who knew Thakoon had a line there! My sis was the 2nd child and annoyed that she only ever got my hand-me downs (but I like to think they were pretty stylin', even at a young age!)
