Missoni for Target Dress, Mustard Leather and Mud Wrestlers

"I all muddy!"
Pigtails yelled from outside.
That's never something a parent wants to hear.
There are many things I love about the rain, but mud isn't one of them.
Especially when my children decide to "take a mud bath" or "play golf" in it.

SLEEVLESS SWEATER DRESS - Missoni for Target (thrifted), $8
MUSTARD FAUX LEATHER JACKET - Papaya, $30
BROWN BOOTIES - Jessica Simpson (thrifted), $14
MIXED METAL CUFF - Heavenly Treasures

Monday's Inspiration - Pippa Middleton
Today's "Inspiration Monday" from the lovely sisters at Two Birds is Pippa Middleton.  I decided to wear my own version of this to church on Sunday.  The Missoni for Target dress is one I got after the madness at a local Goodwill for $8!!!  The Jessica Simpson booties are also from Goodwill, a steal for $14.  And finally that mustard faux leather jacket is from Papaya.

Camouflage hoses down our mud wrestlers

Tomorrow we are off to Hawaii to visit my sister and attend my cousin's wedding.  Princess Sparkles and Pigtails are flower girls.  I love Hawaii.  It's one place I definitely don't mind the rain (or the mud for that matter).

I think silence is even worse to "hear" when kids are involved. Heheh. :) You look cute - another instance where I like your outfit better than the inspiration.

Have fun in Hawaii!

i actually pulled this very dress first to wear for the challenge, but didn't like it with the black jacket.
now if i had had a fabulous jacket like yours, i would have stayed with my choice!!

Your kids are so cute and so are you!! I saw you on Visible Monday and had to comment because I have the same Target dress! I like the way you've styled it. I've worn mine inside-out because I like the way the pattern looks, more muted.

Have a great week!!

Yes, the mud is the annoying thing about rain--my dog won't stay out of it! This outfit rocks! I love the dress, and that mustard jacket is AWESOME.

I pity you the mud, they look caked in it! I had to take 30 children to do some tree-planting in a forest a couple of years ago and it had been raining a lot recently and we had to climb up THE most muddiest hill ever- they all got stuck, had to be helped up and were all filfthy by the end!
Loving your interpretation of Pippa!

Oh my gosh, I LOVE this sweater dress! There's another blogger I know who got this dress when the Missoni line first came out for Target. I loved it then and I still love it now!
