Pastels, Stripes and a Baby Boy Who Loves Pink

Bucket is learning to love pink.
Despite having boy clothes, there are still other "girly" things we have.
Like his pastel swaddles, bibs, towels and burp cloths.
Luckily he doesn't mind.
Because with 2 sisters I'm sure he'll be wearing lots of Princess costumes.

WHITE SKINNY JEANS, PINK LOAFERS, NURSING TANK - Target
GRAY/WHITE STRIPED CARDIGAN - TJ Maxx
AQUA SCARF - Heavenly Treasures
PINK CUFF - Made by my mom

Today I wanted to participate in two link ups:  Silverstyle's "Trending Through the Decades: Pastels," and Megan Mae Daily's and Casual Chic Kiki's "Fashion Challenge: Super Stripes Week."  Luckily I was able to pull off both!  The cuff was made by my mom and I love it because it's pink but it has tough looking studs on it.  The white skinnies are one pair of the many I got from Target since they're having their denim sale!

This snuggle saurus LOVES his pink burp cloth!!!

I didn't think wearing pastels would be all that challenging.  But as I dug in my spring clothes bins I realized I didn't have all that many pieces to choose from.  Maybe I need to go shopping or better yet, borrow something from Bucket!

Sweetie Pie, You look fantastic! I would say how the hell do you do it, but as a mom of 3 now grown boys I know that works you like no gym can. Actually after I had all 3 I ended up weighing 210 lbs. I've been thinking about doing a post on that!
thanks for taking time to link up and poor little Bucket doesn't stand a chance with those girls!!!

Loving the sorbet colors!! Gotta start wearing some pastels :) And thanks for the laugh about your little prince donning princess costumes. Hey, I'm all for it. He won't know the difference...that is, until he's older and he sees a princess sparkles tee on him in photos :)

Your pastel look is just so soft. I'm amazed that you came up with such a striking look when you had so few items to choose from. And that little fella is looking happy!

I think pastels are super challenging because you have to coordinate with your skintone a lot.

You did well!

I left you an award on my blog, check it out!

Very fresh look. Love how you styled to keep the look tall and slim. Won't Bucket be a styly guy when he doesn't think any colors are off limits!
