Yellow: A Cardigan and a Fountain

You'd think by my 3rd kid I'd be an expert diaper changer.
People warned me about boys... But I had no idea.
I'm constantly changing Bucket's onesies thanks to diaper changes.
It doesn't make it easier that the girls crowd around and laugh as Bucket cries.
Then the other day, as another fountain was spraying, Princess Sparkles yelled,
"It went in my eye!"
I know it's wrong to laugh at your children but I couldn't help it.
Neither girl stands around as much now when I'm changing diapers.

YELLOW CARDIGAN - Old Navy, $6
BLACK TOP - Thrifted
BLACK JEGGINGS - Hue
BROWN MOTO BOOTS - Lucky, $40

Monday's Inspiration - Drew Barrymore
Thank goodness for a little "Inspiration Monday" from Two Birds' blog.  Because I definitely need it.  I'm slowly getting back into my fashion groove, but my closet is still full of maternity clothes and I'm not really feeling them now that I'm no longer pregnant.  I do love the sweater though, something I got on clearance at Old Navy for $6.

Bucket: "Watch out!  I have great aim!"

I always forget, the challenge isn't wearing cute maternity clothes but finding outfits to wear afterwards while nursing.  You can't just wear a dress, it has to be button down, a cardigan or two pieces.  And I almost always wear a nursing tank because, well, it's just easier.  And like Bucket, thanks to his fountain, I too seem to have my share of outfit changes!

Feeling a tinge of baby fever over here. :) Nursing is tough to dress for. I just wore tent-y things because I could kind of put the baby up there and it would all be hidden AND because my gigantic bosoms couldn't fit in much else. Heh.

You look fantastic. How's 3? Harder than the switch from 1 to 2 or easier?

You look great, Claire! Not "you look great for just having a baby" great but great, period.

You know what's funny? I always heard the boy pee-pee stories and neither one of mine ever peed on me! However (TMI) my 4 year-old didn't make it to the potty the other day and informed me rather solemnly that "I got a litttttttle bit of poo on the floor." Turned out to be a lot bit, not a little bit. Oh, kids.

omg, i know! i can't even tell you how many changes we went thru in a day...not only with the onsies, but sheets, too! remember to point that thing DOWN so there's no leakage!! i invested in big waterproof changing pads, and years later when shopping for my cousin, i found that they have pee wee tee pees (or something like that) that covers IT while changing diapers. it's supposed to prevent those fountains!
