Black, White and A Goldfish Costume

"Mommy, fish,"
Pigtails said to me as she dragged over her Halloween costume.
I was shocked.  She screamed everytime I put her in it in October.
Pigtails climbed into her costume.  "Zip!  Tie!"
Maybe it was the pet fish Camouflage just bought the girls
or that Princess Sparkles was tootling around in it...
But whatever it was Pigtails wanted to wear her goldfish costume!

POLKA DOT DRESS - Motherhood Maternity (thrifted)
FLOWER HEADBAND, PEARL EARRINGS - Downtown LA
PEARL BRACELETS - Heavenly Treasures
BLACK FLOWER CLUTCH - Nine West
OXFORD T-STRAP HEELS - Forever 21 (thrifted)

SALLY HANSEN XTREME WEAR - Strobe Light
LOVE & BEAUTY (FOREVER 21) - Grey

This is what I wore to my "baby sprinkle" (sort of a mini "baby shower") that my mom friends threw for me.  They were so sweet to celebrate the upcoming little one with brunch and gifts.  I was so honored and had a great time.  My sister, Polka Dots, thrifted this dress for me from GW in Hawaii and I found these shoes at the local GW.  They were new!  The black and white ensemble worked out perfect to link up to "Everybody, Everywear!"

I love wearing black and white, it's such a classic color combo and can be worn anytime during the year.  Kind of like a fishy Halloween costume that might not "work" for trick-or-treating in October but makes a cozy outfit in January!

i own that sally hansen polish! your whole family really has the bargain shopping for special things, down to a science. claire you looked great, for your baby sprinkle. when my friend's son was a cow for halloween, everyday after, for the next 6-8 months, he wanted to wear his cow galoshes. so i would say pigtails is normal, & adorable to boot.

So, are the girls satisfied with a
pet fish? It sure is a lot easier to maintain than a puppy! That is a ferociously funny look on Pigtails' face! How sweet of your
friends to give you a shower. Not
many get a shower on baby #3.

Oh, I had a sprinkle too. I think the idea of sprinkles are so cute for second and third babies. It's a fun way to celebrate their birth without going all out!

You look beautiful! I love that flower headband and your nails, too!

Yay for Halloween costumes! They are seriously one of the best, most played with year round investments that I make in the year.

Those shoes are Gorgeous! I am a sucker for a pretty t-strap!

Also, I was just noticing in these pictures, but I'm pretty sure with some creative draping, and a well placed prop here or there, you could have photographed this entire pregnancy without any of us even knowing that you were pregnant. You look amazing!
