2 Way Tuesday - Wearing Red and Pink Together

RED PANTS - INC (c/o Fashion Bargainista)
PINK TANK TOP - Express
CREAM CARDIGAN - Old Navy
RED/PINK/NAVY HEELS - Charlotte Russe

Here is the outfit I got from Fashion Bargainista
Princess Sparkles loves to try new things (unless it's food that I cooked).  She loves making up new games like "pinch the heart and throw the ball," finding new ways to play with her toys (like wrapping up her duck in a towel in order "to keep him warm")  and collect new "friends" like her pet rock, "Golden Rock."  She never seems to get bored and I'm amazed at her ability to make old things new again.

For "2 Way Tuesday" (where I remix something I already wore before) I decided to rewear a pair of red pants my blog friend, Amber Lena, gave me from her shop "Fashion Bargainista."  She was so sweet to gift them to me and I really love them!  I've been meaning to try mixing up new colors, and have been fascinated by the combination of red and pink together.  I used to think red and pink were only for Valentine's Day, but not anymore!

Anyway, I think the fun thing about spring and summer is that you get to try different color combinations.  The brighter, the better.  And the great thing about this year is not only can you mix patterns but you can mix colors.  And the more they clash, the more they actually go together!  It's an exciting way to make old things new again!

That is a lovely color combo. One that I haven't tried yet, but I am seeing it everywhere! I like how you mixed the heels with the navy into the outfit.

My 6 year and I play "Mean Girls Ballerina" It's a game she made up when she was 3 and we still play it. It's a dance off, lol. Kids do make up some cool stuff.

Wow, I love the pink and red together. The color combo looks great on you.
Kids at that age are great. Everything is multidimensional and there is always a new discovery waiting to happen around the corner.

Ta da! I can comment again!! :)

I like red and pink together too. I especially like that you paired it with that white cardigan.

Having kids is so much fun, isn't it? It's almost like getting to relive childhood a bit.

I love the red and pink together! And it kind of surprises me actually, because that's always one of those 'forbidden' color combinations that you think you have to avoid. Obviously not, though :)

Wow! Very nice! I don't know why, but not many people can pull the whole red and pink together look off. However, you do it rather well! =)

Love it!! Color blocking is so gorgeous and on-trend, but its hard to find it in everyday life. That is, without it looking odd. But, you've totally pulled it off!! I LOVE the red & pink combo! :)

I love both those outfits. Way to rock the bright and bold color combos! Someday, (hopefully) Princess Sparkles will love to try new food, too. Although you may have to wait. It took both my sisters well into their twenties to try certain foods they'd shunned since childhood (I, on the other hand, eat EVERRRRRYYYYTHING!!!!!)
