Tribal Print Mullet Skirt and a Good Driver

"Close one, Momma."
Pigtails said when I hit the brakes of the car as an ambulance sped by.
Then when a song came on the radio she told me,
"Not that one!"
Maybe I should let her drive next time.

TRIBAL PRINT MULLET SKIRT - Target, $6
BLACK CARDIGAN - Motherhood Maternity
ROSE TANK - Zoe Clothing Company
TRIBAL NECKLACE - African via Heavenly Treasures
SNAKE PRINT WEDGES - Rebels (via Loehmanns), $35
GRAY STUDDED HANDBAG - Banana Republic (thrifted), $3.50

This is a fabulous high-low mullet skirts I got from Target online for $6.  I decided to mix prints with the snakeskin wedges.  The tank is by Zoe Clothing Co, who is an awesome Christian t-shirt company that I really love.  The necklace is African and I bought it from Heavenly Treasures.  My mom, Fair Isle, thrifted this gorgeous gray handbag for a few bucks.  It's all leather and has great little details.

Whenever I think I've gotten an amazing deal, Fair Isle comes up with something even more gorgeous for even cheaper!  But I'm so lucky because often times I'm the recipient of the treasure.  When it comes to thrifting, my mom is definitely in the driver's seat!

I tried on a dress at Target that had a similar high-low hem. This skirt looks great on you so I might have to go back. Love your shoes and that bag!

I wish my mom was a thrift store champ.

Pigtails might like that...whenever my kids say something about my driving, they want to climb in the front and just do it themselves. That necklace is really cool!!

great skirt!! 6 bucks online is an awesome deal!! that's kind of how it is with my sister and i. she buys things then decides it's not right for her...then gives it to me. in fact, she just won the GRAND prize at a golf tournament...an LV bag...that she decided just wasn't working for her. guess who got it??

Gasp -- Your skirt! Both the print and the style are totally gorgeous. I love mullet-style skirts. I don't love mullet-style haircuts. I saw a ton of those this weekend. It made me sad.

Haha! I love it when kids tell us what to do. My Little Guy is always telling me, "Momma! You're driving too fast! Do you want to go to jail?" lol

I love that skirt!!

Love the way that that skirt looks on you Claire! You're so lucky that your mom is a great thrifter--an extra pair of eyes is always a good thing when you're shopping!
