Tribal Sweater and A Crying Baby

"He's sleeping.  Hurry up, let's eat."
Camouflage and I find it challenging to have a meal together.
When we first had Princess Sparkles we'd go to restaurants
and end up taking turns carrying her while the other person ate.
Little did we know how easy we had it with just one kid.
Now we have to do that at home with Bucket
(Okay, well, sometimes we let him cry because by the 3rd you learn to tune it out)
I think babies have special sensors, because as soon as you heat up your food
and sit down to have a relaxing meal...they cry.

SWEATER, BOOTS - Old Navy
GRAY SKIRT - Free People
FEATHER EARRINGS - Charlotte Russe
AMBER NECKLACE - My mom's

I've been shopping the Old Navy clearance sections a lot lately.  Often I find deals that are even cheaper than the thrift stores!  However, it wasn't the case with this sweater.  Although it was on clearance, it was still close to $20.  But I'm obsessed with the tribal trend and I had been eyeing this sweater since it first came out.  And this was the last one, and it was on clearance, and it was my size.  I just couldn't help myself!!!

Bucket: "I know you're eating.  Pick me up!!!"
Sometime if I find something I really want and it's not as cheap as I'd want, I still have to get it.  Because I hate when I don't, then I think about it constantly and have to figure out when the heck I'm can sneak away again to buy it.  It's as bad as trying to eat dinner with a baby screaming in the background (although not as bad as buying something, wearing it, and finding it got even cheaper the next day!).

I love the ON clearance racks! I go there first when I enter the store before I even check out any of the new stuff. Anyhow - I do NOT miss the days of the crying newborn. You're right, they have a sensor to start wailing whenever you are trying to eat (I became very adept at eating one-handed and drinking with a straw) OR trying to have some let's say "intimate times" with your husband. (Which was like the last thing I wanted anyway with a newborn but you know what I am saying.)

Your new sweater is very cool, Claire! And your new baby Bucket is adorable, even though his timing might be a little off : >

Oh! Look at you and your adorable family! Aw, the newborn days. I remember them well. Luckily (and sadly), they don't last forever. Hope you are getting some rest (and hot meals) when you can!

You're just the cutest little mama. And that sweater is fabulous. I'm kind of obsessed with tribal stuff myself and I'm always keeping an eye out for it. It's just so fun!

Cute outfit. Your new baby is so cute. All of your kids are adorable!

Totally know what you mean about having to buy something even if its not as cheap as we would like it to be. I am the exact same way. I try to save for the deals but if there is really none, I rather have it then not. =)

oh, I totally know the feeling when you just have to get something, no matter what. I guess women simply are that way :P

It's a beautiful sweater...and it sounds like you deserve it with a demanding little one like hungry Bucket.

I am really late to the party here, but Congratulations, Bucket looks like such a cutie!

Your sweater is awesome, I had my eye on it at ON forever and then lost track of it, I may have to take a trip up there today and see if one is still hidden in the stacks. Their clearance rack is too good to be true sometimes!

What a beautiful little boy! I know you have your hands full but the picture with all three of them is beautiful! My good wishes are with you. I've been there and done that!

That's funny--they must have a special baby radar that tells them to cry at the worst times! I've been having good luck at Old Navy too! I might have to go back to hunt down that cute sweater!

awww...what a sweet family picture. I know how difficult it must be for you to manage 3. But you are so positive and cool about it. The best part is you are still looking so fantastic and unflustered. I like the tribal sweater, really so chic!

Just love that sweater!! I sometimes find the sale section at ON as overwhelming as a F21. I need to get over that and go for it! :-)

haha.. i was there not so very long ago.
i very rarely buy something that is not on sale or in the clearance section.. and yes when what you just splurged on goes on sale the next day.. so annoying.

I think your cool cage heels make your nautical outfit uber cool. btw I so wanted to call you yesterday--i had random free time before dinner and went to that bakery in culver city to kill some time, but i figured with 3 little ones it would probably be impossible to break away. We will have to get together soon though--I love Culver City (we went to Libre and Bottle Rock).
