Neon Fringe Necklace and Getting My Way

"When I get older I'm eating too much candy,"
Princess Sparkles said after I told her she couldn't have a treat.
"And I'm not getting sick or going to the doctor."
Wouldn't that be nice.
Princess Sparkles is learning how we don't always get our way.
What she doesn't know is that it still happens even when we're older.
But I'll let her figure that one out on her own.

CAMOUFLAGE CAPRIS - Old Navy
BLACK TOP - August Silk (via Loehmanns)
SILVER FLATS - Ashley Scott (thrifted)
BROWN BAG - Helen Kaminski (thrifted)
NEON FRINGE NECKLACE - PopJunkLove

Even though it's October, it's been a tad warm around here.  So I've been wearing summer outfits in fall colors.  I decided to brighten up this particular outfit with this amazing fringe necklace I got from Roma at Pop Junk Love.   She is so awesome!   I've been following her journey through her blog (she quit her steady job to do wonderful crafts like this necklace, and she even donates money back to needy kids!). Seriously, check her out her out at Pop Junk Love!

"I want candy!"

Lately I've only had a chance to blog about once a week.  It's just been so busy juggling everyone's schedules.  But if I had my way I'd be blogging and shopping everyday and my kids would do everything I asked!

  7. I remember thinking 12 would be the magical age at which I could do whatever I wanted, which in my case was chew gum. And Hubba Bubba, not the half of Trident my mom would occasionally dole out. :)

  10. Oh, the lessons of childhood. We all had to learn them, and I am sure Princess Sparkles will come to terms with it one day. Even as an adult, we are still learning.

Also, I love that you're combining two seasons into one. This transitional period can be incredibly awkward, but you've done a beautiful job! I love the slouchy top and that bright necklace!
