Cashmere Maternity Sweater, Fur Vest and Albertus Swanepoel for Target Hat

The other night I asked Princess Sparkles why she's so cute (yes, I'm totally biased) and she told me, "because I have a cute hair style."  I smiled.  She does have naturally curly hair that people always think I curled!  Then today I saw her taking her rocket launcher and putting it in her face sans rocket.  I asked her what she was doing and she said, "I'm blow drying my hair."

Here's what I wore to church on Sunday.  It was really "wayning" hard, as Pigtails says, so I wanted to wear something warm.  This is one of my only nice maternity purchases I made while pregnant with Sparkles.  It's a Walter cashmere sweater from Pea in the Pod I found on sale.  I also wore my Albertus Swanepoel for Target hat and my favorite Sanctuary furry vest I got a deal on at Nordstrom.

It's always hard to get myself out of the house on a rainy day, I just want to snuggle up in bed with hot chocolate and my family.  I also was having a bad hair day, hence the hat.  Because unlike Princess Sparkles, I don't like "blow drying" my hair.

    I hate blow drying my hair as well! So sorry I am behind with my commenting! I have hair that is probably thicker than Princess Sparkles and it is wavy...my mom had no idea what to do with it and did not use conditioner on it. So...after washing it every night she blow dried it with a blow out. I have nightmares of 2 things...blow dryers and brushes...ahhhhh

    I never get to wear fur vests because it's too hot in here in my country but I really like seeing other people wear it! :-)

    I used to have really really curly hair. I still do now (not as curly as it used to be) but I had my hair straightened years ago and it never went back!

    How cute! Brielle (my daughter) always likes to "curl" her hair with my curling iron. I love your pretty vest! I feel the same way about rainy days. It just sucks all the motivation right out of me!

    I love that fur vest Claire, in the photo it almost has a lavendar tint, which I love! The sweater is gorgeous too!
    I am the worst at blowdrying my hair, no matter how many world-famous stylists have tried to help me. I think it's in the genes (not jeans).

    How chic are you, in your fur vest, hat, boots and shades?? You look fantastic. I have learned that with my super-fine surly hair, I have to let it be - otherwise, it's a big fuzzy mess!

    I think we could all learn from little ones. We sometimes forget how to express love and the simple things in life. I'm trying to relearn. So if I post a blog on learning my ABC's you will know I'm doing A OK.

    princess sparkles is always so cute! She says the darndest things. Your outfit is lovely, I like all the glitter on your sweater and it looks so snug and cosy on you. The fur vest is another great item. I wish i have fall here so I can do all the layering, you are great at layering!

    i laughed so hard about lounging in your pj's on a rainy day. that's what i want to do. i use a hat on a bad hair day too. or when i feel unmotivated to blow dry my hair as well. ;) your sweater looks wonderfully warm!

    I love the fur vest! I need a vest like this in my life, but I can't seem to find the perfect one. All fur looks stupid in me. No matter how much I love it, it still makes me look like a fool. I have faith that the perfect piece is out there somewhere for me!

    That's a fabulous sweater! I dislike blowdrying my hair too. I think that's why I haven't let it grow out yet. Also I hate rainy days that you have to go out on. It's so easy to stay in and snuggle up!

    too funny. kids have wonderful imaginations. the sweater is very pretty...i like the style and color. the only "investment" maternity item i splurged on was a pair of jeans, which i wore almost every day.

    sweaters are definitely too HOT for HI...but they are manageable in the office AC. i strip down as soon as i get home!
