Dressing Up for a Baby Shower and Bed - Inspiration Monday

Monday's Inspiration - Kirsten Dunst
Princess Sparkles loves "dressing up" even if it's just for bed.  She insisted on wearing a tutu over pajamas and changed out of her white glitter shoes into her "sleep shoes" (AKA ballet shoes she claims are "clean").  She also decided to accessorize her pajamas with a flower headband.  Sparkles thinks this is what princesses wear to bed.

Today I'm linking up to "Inspiration Monday" from the ladies at Two Birds.  They gave us 3 pictures to choose from and I decided to go with the Kirsten Dunst "fancy one."  I'm also linking up to Monday Mingle!  This is the outfit I'm planning to wear next weekend to the baby shower of my best friend, Cardi.  It's a GAP maternity dress I thrifted from Goodwill, with my fave "ballerina" heels and a matching belt.  I'm also wearing the beautiful cuff I got from the sample sale at GS Lillian.

Normally when given a choice for "Inspiration Monday," I would've chosen a more casual look.  However, I was feeling the dress and sky high heels.  Maybe Princess Sparkles' "fancy all the time" attitude is starting to rub off on me!

    Princess sparkles is so cute as usual. I would love to dress like this to sleep too ;-) You look as sweet as Sparkles, I love grey and pink such a lovely combo. You're looking better every day, the bump is also getting cuter by the day. Great accessories, the belt is so pretty, so are the shoes, I love them.

    I am the Mom of 3 grown sons.....
    We had no tiara's or princesses in our house. From time to time a little bitch or two but no princesses.

    That is so cute that Princess Sparkles likes to dress up for bed. I used to be the same way! I used to have this little red nightgown and red slippers one year for Christmas and I would pretend I was Clara from The Nutcracker! haha
