Floral Dress and Denim Vest - Inspiration Monday on Friday!

Monday's Inspiration:

Princess Sparkles asked me two things today.  "What is that diamond out there?"  It was a gymnasium in the shape of a pyramid which I equated to one of her TV shows and she totally knew what it was.  And she asked, "what is directing?"  I told her it was when you tell someone what to do.  I always appreciate her questions because she always keeps me on my toes!

Today I think I'm finally going to link up to "Inspiration Monday."  I know, it's Friday, but it's been a long week.  I'm actually wearing a dress I stole from Polka Dot's closet (my little sis) and I paired it with my favorite denim vest (I love a vest because it always seems to make me look slimmer) and green Seychelle wedges I got at a warehouse clearance sale a few years back.

Anyway, I better get the girls ready for swimming lessons.  It's always a challenge to take them to the pool because Pigtails is everywhere.  Princess Sparkles may test me mentally, but Pigtails literally keeps me on my toes!

    What a pretty dress! I never thought to pair a denim vest with a dress. You always inspire me :)

    Have fun at the pool with the girls. Miss M keeps me on my toes at the pool too. She is taking her swim test this weekend to see if she can finally jump off the diving boards! Wish us luck!

    how fun is that? sticking with the floral dress, waist belt, blue and wedges? it's fun how many ways people related this picture into their own personal style, some people chose to focus on blue, some people chose to do a shirt dress, some people stuck with florals

    I need a denim vest. I'm not really a vest person, though, so I don't know how smart of an investment that would be for me. They look really cute with dresses -- like you did here.
    Swimming lessons never worked for me. I think I took 3-4 years of swimming lessons, and I still have a phobia of water and cannot swim.

    nice dress! i like your interpretation of it. it originally had a green cheapy belt that went with it. i think you make it look much more stylish. and to think i almost gave it away...now i can't wait to wear it again! =)
