Princess Sparkles decided on a magenta corduroy skirt with a striped sweater. She definitely knows how to match, and looked very cute and girly. She topped her outfit off with red sparkly shoes (unfortunately not shown in picture). She even put on her own "underwear" (also not shown in picture) which was not really a panty, but it worked. I have to say, I was quite impressed!

Since it's Friday I thought I'd post another "done up" sweats outfit, since that's what I wore to see my mom, Fair Isle, and stepdad, Henley. I think this would work perfectly for any mom to wear to the park. What's cool is the motorcycle jacket is made out of sweatshirt material but is much more stylish than your average hoodie! I chose to pair it with sweats, but I think it would look great with yoga pants in any and every color (or leggings too!).
I know it seems like an oxymoron to call sweats "done up," but it's possible! Be like Princess Sparkles... find your style by adding your own twist to your loungewear (you know, kinda like her red sparkly shoes!). That way you can be comfy AND cute.
Great style dear! You look adorable <3
ReplyDeleteLove this outfit! And who would think that you are wearing sweats? Looks great!

Thanks for your comment on my blog! I love this look WITH sweats. In fact, you can hardly tell you have them on b/c I'm too busy looking at all the cute other things you're wearing! :)
ReplyDeleteI love it when I find a sweatshirt material in a stylish and structured cut - it is the perfect marriage of style and comfort!

Great mommy look indeed. I love jackets made out of sweatshirt material. They look structured but feel so comfy. I have a grey blazer like that. The scarf adds a great pop of color.
ReplyDeleteYour daughter is so cute. My 2 yr old already picks her own shoes, either the rain boots or the twinkle toe sketchers.
