Animal Print Skinny Jeans and Dramatic Notes

Lately Princess Sparkles has been expressing herself through the written word.
Like when my cousin, Animal Print, tossed the cone after she ate the ice cream.
"NO ICE CREAM," the card said
with a girl (Animal Print) trashing a cone next to a sad girl (Sparkles).
Or when Camouflage took a bite of a raisin cookie she wasn't eating.
(She thought it was chocolate chip and was devastated to see it wasn't)
She wrote "NOT FOR DADDY"
(after asking Camo how to spell "Daddy")

Monday's Inspiration - Kate Moss
 
Although I love any type of faux fur, I decided to forgo it for this "Inspiration Monday" from Two Birds and go with the leopard print pants.  For some reason, even though they're a neutral, I still have a hard time finding things to wear with them.  I just don't want to look too over the top.  So I threw on an Alternative Apparel tank and a slubby sweater my mom, Fair Isle, thrifted for me.

I love animal print (my cousin AND on my clothes).  It's always a great "neutral." But sometimes I find it slightly difficult to wear since I don't want to look too over the top.  Because I'd hate to receive a note from Sparkles telling me "you don't match" or "change your clothes."

    Those are cute notes from Princess Sparkles! :) I love those leopard print jeans, they're perfect with the slouchy (and so comfy looking!) sweater!

    haha so funny, you always rock animal print, ive never worn it myself, i'm not that keen. It's one of those things that i think looks cool on other people but i'm just not sure i could pull it off!

    claire, i like the casual, but stylishly chic look. i was thinking what would i wear with leopard. bucket is getting big. :) i don't think sparkles is at the writing stage yet. is she? plus her mommy claire has excellent taste.

    oh gosh, I'm pretty sure you have the coolest children! I'm just laughing right now (thank god I'm alone in the room, haha). world would be awesome if all kids were like that :)
    and your pants already are awesome though I must agree with you about the part that it's always hard to style leopard print the right way!

    My favorite part of her whole drawing is the giant NO over animal print's head. Haha! You look cute whatever you wear and pull off those jeans in a way I don't think I could. Hope all is well Claire!
